How to Find a Qscan Clinic Near You

Updated

Qscan Radiology Clinics operates over 40 locations across Australia, and you can find the one nearest you either by browsing the location list on qscan.com.au or by using the site's location search tool. The right method depends on whether you already know your state or city, or want the site to match you by proximity.

Browse by state and city

If you know roughly where you are, the fastest route is to scan the published location list. Qscan's site groups clinics by state and city, and each entry includes a direct phone number.

State / Territory Locations listed Contact numbers shown
QLD Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast 1300 177 226
QLD Mackay 07 4960 4940
WA Rockingham (08) 9500 8950
WA Midland (08) 6155 5500
ACT University of Canberra PET-CT (02) 6126 5080
ACT Canberra (02) 6126 5000
NSW Chatswood (02) 8423 2700
NSW Ryde (02) 9813 2500
NSW Westmead (02) 4761 4225
TAS Hobart PET-CT (03) 6240 1940
TAS North Hobart (03) 6240 2300

Note that the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast clinics share a single 1300 number, while other sites have their own local numbers. If you are in South Australia, the Northern Territory or another region not shown above, use the location search tool instead — the list above reflects only the entries published on the homepage.

Use the location search tool

The site includes a location finder that accepts free-text input with an autocomplete option. This is the better choice when you don't know which suburb or clinic name to pick.

  1. Go to the Locations section of qscan.com.au.
  2. Start typing your suburb, city or postcode into the location field.
  3. Select from the autocomplete suggestions that appear as you type.
  4. Review the matching clinics and their contact details.

Expected result: a shortlist of nearby Qscan clinics. Because the tool geocodes free-text input, a partial or misspelled suburb may return nothing useful — if that happens, try the full suburb name or the postcode instead.

Before you book

Two things are worth confirming once you have a clinic in mind:

  • Service availability. Qscan offers a broad service range, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, PET-CT, nuclear medicine, mammography, BMD/DEXA, dental imaging, interventional radiology and EOS spinal and body imaging. Not every clinic necessarily offers every service, so check the individual clinic page if you need something specific such as a PET-CT or contrast-enhanced mammography.
  • Referral format. Qscan accepts e-Referrals through Medical Objects and HealthLink, so your referring doctor can send the referral electronically rather than you carrying paper.

Booking and follow-up

Once you've chosen a clinic, you can book online through the site, and there is also a "Modify Booking" option if your appointment needs to change. After your examination, your report and images are sent electronically — referrers access results through InteleConnect and InteleViewer.

If you would rather speak to someone first, calling the number listed for your nearest clinic is the most direct option, particularly for questions about preparation, service availability or wait times.
