What is Metal-Fab and what does mtlfab.com offer?

Updated

mtlfab.com is the official website of Metal-Fab, Inc., a manufacturer of venting and exhaust products for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. The company was founded in 1958 and operates as an Olympic Steel company. If you are looking for chimney, gas vent, or kitchen exhaust products — or trying to locate a distributor — this site is the manufacturer's own resource rather than a retailer or marketplace.

Who runs the site

Metal-Fab describes itself as a leader in the residential, commercial, and industrial ventilation industry, citing more than 60 years of experience and a focus on product development, improvement, and safety. The site footer identifies the business as Metal-Fab, Inc., an Olympic Steel company, and links to Olympic Steel's corporate site. The copyright line on the page reads ©2026 Metal-Fab, Inc.

What the site covers

The site is organized around three product lines and a set of supporting resources:

  • Residential Products — venting products for home heating and hearth applications
  • Commercial Products — venting and exhaust solutions for commercial buildings
  • Micro Air — a third product category listed alongside the residential and commercial lines
  • Rep Locator — a tool for finding a manufacturer's representative, with separate entries for residential, commercial, and Micro Air products
  • Careers — job openings and employment notices, including privacy, EEO, and transparency-in-coverage policies

The homepage states that Metal-Fab manufactures "complete and comprehensive venting solutions for Residential, Commercial and Industrial applications," and the source description names chimneys, gas vents, and kitchen exhausts among the product range.

The site publishes a set of industry links, which is useful if you want to understand the standards and trade bodies the company associates with:

Practical notes for visitors

The site uses cookies and states that it does not sell visitor information; continuing to browse is treated as acceptance of that policy. No pricing, ordering, or account information appears on the homepage, so treat mtlfab.com as a product and company information source — for purchasing, the Rep Locator is the path the site itself provides.
