What is Patrick King's website patrickking.org?

patrickking.org is the online portfolio of the artist Patrick King, presenting his work across several media and offering a way to inquire about commissions and additional available works. The site is organized around a simple navigation menu, so you can move directly to the type of work or information you want.

Main content areas

The navigation lists these sections:

• Home – landing page
• Work – the portfolio, divided into:
  • Oils
  • Watercolors
  • Drawings and Prints
  • Commissions
  • Giclees
• About – background on the artist, with:
  • Statement
  • Resume
  • Videos
• Contact
• Blog

What each section is for

Work is where the art itself lives. The categories separate original paintings (oils, watercolors) from works on paper (drawings and prints) and from reproduction formats (giclees). Commissions is listed as its own category, indicating that commissioned work is part of the practice.

About gives context rather than images: an artist's statement, a resume, and videos. If you want to understand the artist's background or approach before looking at the work, this is the section to read.

Blog suggests ongoing written updates, and Contact is the route for direct inquiries.

Getting in touch

The site's footer states that all works are copyright © 2023 Patrick King, and directs visitors to contact the artist for additional available works or to discuss commissions. So if a piece you want isn't shown, or you're interested in commissioning something, the Contact page is the intended starting point.

A Website Terms & Privacy link is also present in the footer.
