Which Gaming Platforms Can Keep Track of My Games Sync With?
Updated
Keep Track of My Games (KTOMG) automatically syncs with four services: Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network (PSN), and GOG. If your library lives on those platforms, you can pull it into one app instead of maintaining separate spreadsheets. Physical and digital games that aren't tied to a connected account can still be cataloged manually using lists, tags, and filters.
Automatic sync sources
| Service | Sync type | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| Steam | Automatic | PC digital library |
| Xbox Live | Automatic | Xbox console and Microsoft Store games |
| PlayStation Network (PSN) | Automatic | PlayStation digital library |
| GOG | Automatic | DRM-free PC library |
Once synced, your games from all four services appear together in a single collection view, so you don't have to switch between storefronts to see what you own.
What sync doesn't cover
Automatic import only applies to the four services above. Anything else — physical discs and cartridges, Nintendo eShop titles, Epic Games Store purchases, retro consoles, or games on platforms not on the list — has to be added by hand. KTOMG supports this through:
- Lists for grouping games however you like
- Tags for custom labels (genre, mood, ownership status, etc.)
- Filters to narrow large collections down to what you're looking for
This is also how you avoid double-buying: if a physical copy is already cataloged, it shows up alongside your synced digital titles.
Where the game details come from
Game metadata — titles, cover art, and similar information — is pulled from IGDB. That means manually added games still get populated entries rather than blank placeholders, as long as the title exists in IGDB.
What you can do after syncing
- Track completion status: Want to Play, Playing, Played, with Played split into Abandoned, Beaten, or 100% Completed
- Create ranked lists to decide what to play next
- Track playthroughs and save progress notes
- Get release-date notifications by email or text
- View stats about your collection
- Export your data anytime as CSV
Practical notes before you sign up
- You need accounts on the services you want to sync — KTOMG connects to them rather than replacing them.
- Syncing is read-oriented: it imports your library into KTOMG, not the other way around.
- If a platform you use isn't on the four-service list, plan on manual entry for those titles.
If most of your backlog sits on Steam, Xbox, PSN, or GOG, automatic sync will cover the bulk of it. If your collection is spread across Nintendo, Epic, and physical media, expect to do more manual cataloging — the list, tag, and filter tools are what make that manageable.
